O WOMANiya

‘Women’ the first thought that comes to our mind after hearing this word is that she is a mother, sister, wife. We often fail to imagine a picture of a strong leader, an entrepreneur, etc. It is not just our fault, the patriarchal mindsets of ours find it difficult to accept the fact that gone are those days when women have this soft, weak and less powerful image. The times are changing now.

From being just a homemaker and staying indoors to breaking all the gates of patriarchy and stepping out of the comfort zones standing shoulder to shoulder with the some of the great male leaders of the time women have come a long way. They have already geared up the corporate world. Proving their abilities to lead, direct and inspire many people they have emerged as great role models. To name a few Indra Nooyi, Kiran Mazumdar Shaw, Chanda Kochar, Ekta Kapoor, Melinda Gates, Oprah Winfrey…. The list goes on because there aren’t a few…. These women possess the power to deliver the best performance in any circumstances be it a posh corporate offices or be it just a small scale businesses in their 10*10 residential apartments. For them it is no big deal running a business empire and their households successfully. What they know only is to get the best of both worlds!!
