NIACL Assistant Eligibility Criteria 2024
New India Assurance Company Limited has released the eligibility criteria details for the post of Assistant in terms of nationality, education qualification, age limit and language proficiency, scroll down to know it.
- Nationality: An applicant must be a permanent resident of India.
- Age Limit: One’s age must not be below 21 and above 30 years as of January 01, 2024.
- Educational Qualification: The candidate must have pursued a Bachelor’s degree from a UGC recognized university.
- Language Proficiency: It is mandatory that applicants must know how to read and write in his or her regional language.

NIACL Assistant Selection Process 2024
Selection process for the post of Assistant consists of two stages, which are Prelims and Mains, get the details about both from below.

- Duration: 60 minutes (1 hour)
- Sections: English Language, Reasoning Ability, Numerical Ability
- Total Questions: 100
- Maximum Marks: 100
- Sectional Time Duration: 20 minutes for each section
- Marking Scheme: Each question carries 1 mark, and there is a penalty for wrong answer of ¼ of question’s weightage.
- Mode: English
Mains:
- Mode: Online
- Duration: 120 minutes (2 hours)
- Sections: Test of Reasoning, Test of English Language, Test of General Awareness, Test of Computer Knowledge, Test of Numerical Ability
- Total Questions: 200
- Maximum Marks: 250
- Marking Scheme: Each question carries 1.25 marks, and there is a penalty for wrong answer of ¼ of question’s weightage.
- Medium of Exam: English
Prelims will be followed by the Mains, only those will be called for the second stage of the selection process who will score at least cut off marks in the first one.
