SBI CLERK Vacancy is generally released in the month of April/May tentatively, 5000’s of vacancies are released for the candidates to apply in 2018 there were 7200 vacancies, in 2019 there were 8593 vacancies and in 2020 there were a total of 7870 vacancies, in 2021 there were 5454 vacancies.

SBI Clerk Salary Structure

The beginning salary, basic pay of SBI Clerk is Rs 19000. Pay scale Rs.17900-1000/3-20900-1230/3-24590-1490/4-30550- 1730/7-42600-3270/1-45930-1990/1-47920. The starting Basic Pay is Rs.19900/- (Rs.17900/- plus two advance increments admissible to graduates).

Approximately, a total of Rs 25000 to 31000 salary is the monthly in-hand salary of SBI Clerk.

  • Level 1- Clerk: The basic training phase of Clerk where he learns all the basic responsibilities he has to take.

  • Level 3- Assistant Manager: The work of an Assistant Manager is same as that of a PO. It’s just that this post is confirmed and not on a probation period.

  • Level 6- AGM: The Assistant General Manager takes care of a group of the branch in a region.

SBI Clerk Eligibility Criteria

Nationality

  1. Citizen of India
  2. Subject of Nepal or Bhutan
  3. Tibetan refugees who came to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanent settlement.
  4. Person of Indian Origin (PIO) who has migrated from Burma, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Vietnam or East African countries of Zaire, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Ethiopia, Malawi, with the intention of permanent settlement in India Candidates belonging to the category 2, 3, 4 must have a certificate of eligibility issued by the Govt. of India in their favor.

Mandatory Educational Qualifications

  1. Candidates must hold a Graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification which is recognized by the Central Government. They should ensure that the passing certificate should indicate the degree pass date in it.
  2. Prospective applicants who are in the Final Year/ Semester of their Graduation may also apply on a provisional basis. However, this is subject to the condition that at the time of the interview, they’ll need to produce proof that they have passed the graduation examination.
  1. Candidates who have an Integrated Dual Degree (IDD) certificate need to ensure that the date of passing of the IDD is as mentioned in the notification.
  2. Candidates who possess Chartered Accountancy qualification are also eligible to apply.
  3. As per the SBI CLERK qualification criteria, the candidates should indicate the percentage obtained in Graduation degree and calculate it to the nearest two decimals in the application form. For cases where CGPA is awarded, applicants should convert the grade into percentage and indicate it in the online application form.
  4. For the SBI CLERK eligibility percentage, candidates with less than 60% in their graduation are also eligible to take the SBI CLERK exam. The State Bank of India prescribes no minimum percentage in Graduation for the SBI Probationary Officer (PO) exam.

 

SBI Clerk Age Limit

Candidates applying for the SBI CLERK exam should not be below 20 years and not above 28 years. There are many criteria for Age relaxation among candidates :-

SBI Clerk Pre Exam Training - Eligibility

SC/ST/Religious Minority Community candidates in consonance with the guidelines issued by Government of India are eligible for the training. Candidates belonging to the above categories who desire to avail themselves of such training at their own cost may indicate to that effect against the relevant column while applying on-line. There are various relaxation provided to candidates belonging to reserved category. Before filling SBI Clerk form, candidates are recommended to go through eligibility criteria and relaxation provided to reserved candidates.

SBI Clerk Application Fees

Applicants can pay the application fee by Credit/Debit Card or via SBI Online Net Banking or any other banks’ net banking only. The application fee is INR 750 for general and INR 100 (for reserved category candidates). Once you’ve entered the details, click on the Submit Button. Once the fee has been paid successfully, a receipt will be generated.

Note Candidates must print and save a copy of the receipt as proof of fee payment and for future use.
