1. Nationality

  • A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, or Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

2. Educational Qualification

  • A candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field from a recognized university.
  • Equivalent qualifications recognized by the Government of India are also accepted.
  • Final-year engineering students are eligible to apply, provided they submit proof of passing the degree during the recruitment process.

3. Age Limit

  • The candidate must be aged between 21 and 30 years as of January 1 of the examination year.
  • Relaxation in Upper Age Limit:

    • OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years
