ICMR ASSISTANT Salary and Benefits
Given the following break-downs, we’ll calculate the in-hand salary of ICMR Assistants.
- Level and Grade Pay: Level 6 (Grade Pay 4200)

- Dearness Allowance: Rs. 6,018 (17% of Basic Pay)

- Deduction for NPS: Rs. 4,142

The only deduction from the ICMR Assistant salary is NPS (National Pension System): Rs. 4142 (10% of basic pay + DA). Net take home salary of an ICMR assistant is Rs. 49,984

ICMR ASSISTANT Age Limit
The age of the candidate who wishes to apply for the ICMR Assistant Recruitment 2024 should not exceed 30 years of age. However, there are age relaxations provided for reserved candidates.

ICMR ASSISTANT Educational Qualification
Candidates who are applying for the ICMR Assistant Recruitment 2024 should hold certain qualifications to be considered eligible for the exam. Go through the ICMR Assistant Eligibility Criteria 2024 regarding candidate qualification given below.
- The candidates wishing to apply for the ICMR Assistant Recruitment must have a minimum 3-year bachelor’s degree from any discipline from the university which is recognized by the Government.
- The candidate must also have a working knowledge of MS Office and Powerpoint.
ICMR ASSISTANT Selection Process
The candidates who wish to apply for the ICMR Assistant Recruitment will be called for the computer-based test followed by a skill test. The candidates who are qualified in the computer-based test will be called for the skill test and document verification. The candidates who fail to appear for the document verification process will not be considered for ICMR Assistant recruitment 2024.
- The ICMR Assistant Recruitment 2024 written/computer-based test will receive 80% of the marks/weightage.
- Skill tests will be undertaken when required by the Essential Qualification, and 20 %marks / weightage will be awarded.
