Central Bank Apprentices 2025 Eligibility Criteria
- Eligibility Criteria:
Nationality/Citizenship
A candidate must be either
- a Citizen of India or
- a subject of Nepal or
- a subject of Bhutan or
- a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or
- a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India
Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) & (v) above shall be a person in whose favor a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.

Central Bank Apprentices 2025 Selection Process
Selection for engagement of candidates who apply for apprenticeship in the Bank after paying requisite online fee shall have to undergo the selection process based on Online Examination to be conducted by BFSI SSC and Test of Local Language of the State.
Online Examination: –
The tentative structure of the Online examination (Objective type) would be as follows: –

** Bank reserves the right to modify the structure of the examination.
There will be no negative marks for wrong answers in the Objective tests.
• Selection will be based on merit as per vacancies.
•
Merit List is to be drawn depending upon the vacancy.
• In case more than one candidate scores same marks in the Merit List, such candidate will be ranked in the merit list according to their age in descending order.
After the online examination, the result of the candidates who have provisionally qualified for selection will be made available on the Bank’s and BFSI SSC’s website.
Test of Local Language:
• The candidates applying for training seats of a particular state, should be proficient (reading, writing, speaking, and understanding) in any one of the specified local languages of that State, as mentioned in the Annexure-II.
Note: – Other detailed information regarding the examination process will be given in the “Information Handout”, and the same will be made available to all eligible candidates by BFSI SSC.
Final Selection:
The final selection of the apprentices will be subject to
• Meeting the cut-off marks and being in the merit in the online examination to be decided by the Bank.
• Satisfactory verification of the documents related to Date of Birth/Category/Educational Qualification and other information furnished in the online application.
• Being found Medically Fit as per the requirement of the Bank
