The SSC CGL Income Tax Inspector recruitment is be conducted for recruiting eligible candidates for the post of Income Tax Inspector in the CBDT under the Government of India. The selection of candidates will be carried out in three stages i.e. Tier 1 and Tier 2 and a Physical examination.
- The SSC CGL exam, also known as Staff Selection Commission Combined Graduate Level Exam is conducted to recruit candidates as Income Tax Inspectors, Excise & Customs Inspectors, Accountants, Junior Accountants, etc.

SSC CGL Inspector of Income Tax Exam Pattern
- The SSC CGL Tier I Examination has 4 sections – Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude & English Language.
- Each Section consists of 25 questions and each question carries 2 marks which makes it a total of 50 marks per section.
- The total time duration is 60 minutes.
- There is a provision for Negative Marking of 0.50 marks per wrongly answered question.
- The Total marks can hence be calculated as –
