SSC GD Exam 2022

SSC GD 2022 Notification has been released on official site ssc.nic.in.

Staff Selection Commission conducts the recruitment process for the recruitment of the General Duty post of Constables (GD) in BSF, CISF, ITBP, CRPF, and Rifleman in AR.

The total number of vacancies released by the Commission for the recruitment is 24369 for constables both male and female.

SSC conducts the General Duty (GD) exam for the post of Constable in different Central Police Organizations.

SSC GD 2022 Salary

This is a great opportunity for all the candidates preparing for various exams under SSC.

SSC GD is one of the most awaited exams for Govt. aspirants.

The candidates recruited will be offered a salary of Rs. 24387/- at the time of training and Rs. 47540/- at the time of service with additional perks and allowances also.

SSC GD 2022 Exam Pattern

The selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of their performance in the following tests – Physical, Written, Medical Fitness. The final list will be prepared according to the performance in the SSC GD written examination.

 

The written exam consists of four sections – GK, Reasoning, Mathematics, and English/Hindi of 25 marks each. Total time of 90 minutes is given to the candidates.

SSC GD Syllabus 2022

SSC GD Constable Paper comprises four Sections/Subjects that are mentioned below:

  • General Intelligence and Reasoning
  • General Knowledge and General Awareness
  • Elementary Mathematics
  • English/ Hindi

The SSC GD syllabus contains Computer Based Examination which includes an objective-type paper carrying 100 marks for 100 questions

This section consists of both verbal and non-verbal types of logical questions. This test particularly includes questions that test the candidate’s analytical and logical reasoning skills and his/ her ability to observe and distinguish patterns. The topics include in the syllabus are as follows:

The questions in this component revolve around matters of everyday life observations and test the candidate’s knowledge of the environment around him/ her and topics related to India and its neighboring countries such as:

SSC GD Exam Eligibility Criteria

18-23 years as on 01-01-2023. Candidates should not have been born earlier than 02-01-2000 and later than 01-01-2005 in normal course. However, after relaxation of three (03) years in upper age, the candidate should not have been born earlier than 02-01-1997.

Note: Due to unprecedented ‘Covid Pandemic’, it has been decided by the Government to grant three (03) years age relaxation beyond respective prescribed upper age limit for all categories of the candidates as one-time measure for this recruitment.

The relaxation in Age Limit will also be given to the candidates of backward categories as per according to government rules and regulations which is 3 years for the candidates of OBC category and 5 years for the applicants of SC/ST Categories.

To be eligible for the SSC GD recruitment, candidates must hold the matriculation or 10th class pass from a recognized Board/ University before applying for the GD post.
