India Post Age Limit
- The candidate’s age should fall b/w 18 – 40 years.
- Relaxation in case of upper-age limits- Imagine having an upper-age limit relaxation and being able to give the examination; even if you have exceeded the actual age limit criteria for that particular post of your choice. Look at the following table where you shall notice that in case of the India Post 2022; Scheduled Castes & Scheduled Tribes are given an extension of 5 years whereas the OBC caste is provided an extension of 3 years.

- Candidates should have passed their 10th Std. along with Mathematics & English as either compulsory or in the elective subjects list.
- The candidates should have studied the local language at least up to their class 10 as either a compulsory or as an elective subject for sure.

India Post Salary and Benefits:
If we talk about the new salary, the minimum TRCA (Time Related Continuity Allowance) for 4 hours/level 1 in the TRCA slab has been uplifted to Rs. 12000/- per month and maximum to Rs.29, 380/-. The minimum TRCA for 5 hours/level 2 in the TRCA slab shall be around Rs. 14500/- per month & maximum to around Rs. 35,480/-. This is in the case of the new salary whereas the old salary is as stated below :
