OICL AO 2025 Eligibility Criteria
The Oriental Insurance Company Limited (OICL) sets specific eligibility criteria for candidates applying for Administrative Officer (AO) posts. Educational Qualification

- Accounts: B. Com with 60% marks (55% for SC/ST), MBA, or CA/ICWAI.
- Actuarial: Bachelor’s in Statistics/Mathematics/Actuarial Science with 60% marks (55% for SC/ST) or equivalent.
- Engineering (IT): B.E./B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech in IT/Computer Science/ECE or MCA with 60% (55% for SC/ST).
- Engineering (Automobile/Mechanical/Electrical/Civil/Chemical/Power/Industrial/Instrumentation): B.E./B.Tech or M.E/M.Tech in the relevant field with 60% marks (55% for SC/ST).
- Medical: MBBS/BDS from a recognized university.
- Legal: Graduate in Law with 60% marks (55% for SC/ST).
Age Limit
Candidates need to be at a certain age to be eligible to apply for the OICL AO Recruitment 2025. To be eligible, candidates must have a minimum age of 21 years and a maximum age of 30 years. The relaxation in the upper age limit will also be provided to reverse category candidates, as mentioned below.

There will be negative marks for wrong answer, 1/4th of the allotted marks will be deducted for each wrong answer. Candidates will have to appear for the online examination at their own expenses on date of online examination. The descriptive English Test will be conducted only through online mode. Questions will be displayed
on the screen of your computer. Answers are to be typed using the keyboard. Before start of typing answers to questions in Descriptive Paper please check all key functions of the keyboard. You will get 45 minutes to answer the questions.
The total marks of the examination will be 200. Candidates who qualify the online Examination will be shortlisted for Interview on the basis of over all marks scored in objective and descriptive section taken together against full marks of 200.

Oreintal Insurance OICL Administrative Officer AO 2025 Salary Range
As per the notification, Basic Pay of Rs 50925/- in the scale of Rs 50925-2500(14)-85925-2710(4)-96765 and other admissible allowance as applicable is given to the Employees of OICL for the Administrative Officer Post. At present, total emoluments will be approximately Rs 85000/- p.m. in the metropolitan centers. Other benefits, such as pension under the New Pension System Governed by PFRDA, Gratuity, LTS, Medical Benefits, Group Personal Accident Insurance, etc., shall be as per the rules. The officers are also entitled to the company’s / leased accommodation as per the norms.
