The Quantitative aptitude section tests the quantitative skills along with logical and analytical skills of the candidates. The questions in the quants paper will be designed to assess candidates’ ability to appropriately use numbers and number sense of the candidates. The questions in the exam are expected to be asked about concepts like the computation of whole numbers, decimals, fractions, and relationships between numbers. It will test the candidates’ sense of order among numbers, ability to translate from one name to another, sense or order of magnitude, estimation or prediction of the outcome of computation, selection of an appropriate operation for the solution of real-life problems, and knowledge of alternative computation procedures to find answers. SSC CGL Assistant Section Officer (ASO) Exam Pattern
The SSC CGL ASO 2024 selection process is expected to consist of two stages :-

- Tier-II (Computer Based Exam)

Stage 1: SSC CGL ASO Tier 1
- This will be a computer-based online test of 200 marks for a maximum duration of 60 minutes. There is a provision for a negative marking of 0.50 marks for each incorrect attempt. There is no sectional cut-off.
